#5:Fun, Exciting NCC (Something That Took Place in School......)

I know that I have been writing alot on this subject 'Something That Took Place in School' and I know that you, the readers, are wondering why on this matter. So, to answer this query at hand, I will tell you guys the reason. The answer is short and simple, the events that happen in school are interesting! But for this post, I am going to talk about one recount on the CCA I am in, which is NCC,which stands for National Cadet Corp! Two days ago, I went to my NCC training. As usual, I changed to my number 4, which is my NCC uniform and went to fall in at the Amphitheartre. After a long greeting to all our seniors and juniors, Our Staff sergeant told us to fall in at the Parade Square. There we did drills for about 1 hours until it started to rain heavily. The Staff Sergeant then told us to fall in again on the 7th floor. Surprisingly, just when we reached there, it stopped raining! But we continued doing our drills there, which I think was to save the hassle of running everywhere just because of rain. The fun part of that day was most definitely the 'drill game'. What is that you ask.Well, drill game is when many drills are shouted as you close yours eyes. whoever opens their eyes or does the drill wrongly will be out. After we were done with the drills, we were told to change to our PT kit and fall in. Unfortunately for me, when people was falling in already, I was still wearing my PT pants. I quickly took my put on my shoe, but did not tie the laces, and rushed down to the Amphitheatre. With the timer(a person) counting down, i grasped the little time that I still had time to tie my shoe laces, and double-knot them too! Soon after, we all had to go for PT. Well... Pt is very fun but at the same time painful if your an unfit person just like me and some of my friends from NCC. After the drills and the PT, then we would be debriefed by one of the teachers-in-charge. So, there you have it, one regular fun NCC training. Now, here is a video on NCC:

#4:Something That Took Place in School.....

Three days ago, in school, Home economics lesson took place. What we did that day was to bake! No... we were not baking a cake or a muffin, but we were baking cookies! It was really fun! The good thing was we were working in pairs, so we can split the work up. Even so, me and my pair, Jun Rong were not able to finish in time, so we had to stay back for another 20 minutes so as to finish the whole process. The whole process got everyone working at their fastest speeds! First, we had to collect all ingredients necessary for the cookies. Next, we had to whisk everything slowly, adding each ingredient one at a time, first was the butter, then the sugar, beaten egg, flour, peanut butter, and lastly, the vanilla essence. The teacher did say that we only add milk when our mixture is too dry. Lucky for us, our cookie mixture was only a little bit dry, so the teacher said we do not need to put in milk. But, the work was not over yet, the worst had just arrived. The torturous mixture had to be shaped on the tray! So, Jun Rong and I started working on the shapes. We had to make all the cookies uniform in shape and size. Well.... that is what the teacher said. Unfortunately, whenever we try flattening the cookies for uniform height, the sides of the cookies kept cracking every time! After a few tries, I finally found a method to stop these cracks. This method was to make the first shape, then flatten the cookies, then shape them once more to remove the cracks. This method actually works, so those reading my blog right now can try this method when you are baking cookies the next time. After the final few shapes, we shoved the cookies into the oven and waited for 15 minutes. As time passed, Jun Rong and I went around the class to try other classmates' cookies which were already done baking. All of their cookies tasted great, which is what I expected since all of them said they got 14 and a half marks out of 15 marks. 15 minutes passed fast and soon, we could take out the cookies. But, to our horror, The cookies had cracks all over them and the best cookie still had at least 7 cracks! When the teacher tasted it, she noticed that the insides of the cookies were still quite soft and the thing she said to us was, "Your cookies are a little bit undercooked." Don't feel bad for us just yet. The teacher recorded our scores down on the results paper, and to our joy, she still gave us 14 marks! This is only half a mark away from our friends! The teacher said that the only thing wrong with our cookies are the tremendous amount of cracks on them, but the undercooked matter was fine. This goes to show Home Economics has no right or wrong. They judge you on how the food was made, and not how the end product is like. Please enjoy this funny, 1 minute rap on cookies by the one and only cookie monster:

#3 The Death of Lokkesh's male hamster......(Something unusual that happened today)

Today, as I was talking to Lokkesh during recess, he told me and my friends on a very sad story that happened during the weekends. He told us that his male hamster died a tragic death. This is how the whole story goes: He has two hamsters, one is a female named Tic and the other is a male named Tac. One of the days during the weekends, he found out that Tic is pregnant. So, Lokkesh did research  on pregnant hamsters. he found out that female hamsters will drive the male hamster away when she is pregnant as female hamsters will not need the males anymore. But since Tic and Tac are in an enclosed area, there is no place to for Tic to drive Tac away. Lokkesh thinks and knows that it was Tic who killed Tac as she wanted to drive him away but there was not enough space. However, Lokkesh told me that his hamster cage has four linked levels and he put Tac on the top floor the night before hs death as he knew that Tic would try to attack Tac, but the next morning, he still found Tac on the first floor, and dead too!We all found the death of Tac quite weird, especially Lokkesh. But we all came to this conclusion on Tac's death: Tac is a 'suicidal hamster' as we suspect Tac killed himself by jumping towards Tic on the first level and then Tic killed him after he got down. Here are some photos on the incident:

#2: Something That Took Place in School!!

Today was just as fun as any other school day, until we reached math class. As Ping Min fell down during Physical Education last week, he had a huge open wound on his knee. But today, when I saw Ping Min's wound, it had puss all over the top, but luckily he was wearing a plaster to cover the awful sight. Just as I was looking at the wound, Louis came and looked at it too! But instead of asking if he was okay, he started to touch the wound. Suddenly, the puss started overflowing out of the plaster and some landed on Louis' finger. But instead of saying sorry, Louis wiped his finger on Ping Min's shirt. At the sight, Ping Min quickly asked one of his friends to give him a tissue. He rushed to clean off the disgusting puss from his lower part of his leg. For me, I find that unusual as you never see such a ridiculous scene everyday, where a person who knows something will come out of an object, but still touch it. Me and some other friends who saw this scene were in shock. Luckily, the puss was flowing slowly enough for Ping Min to wipe it away before it ruins his sock and shoe on that leg. I feel sorry and pity for Ping Min as Louis sits right next to him. I say good luck Ping Min! Here is a little song for Ping Min and Louis:

#1 A Moment Spent Alone Doing Something I Enjoyed (New gundam 00 movie's gundam: Harute gundam)

Just yesterday, I bought one new gundam from the new 00 gundam movie, Awakening of The Trailblazer. The gundam was the Harute gundam which is piloted by Allelujah Haptism, who is also known for piloting the Kyrios and Arios gundam. So, I ripped the box open and fixed it when I was all alone at home. The gundams piloted by Allelujah Baptism all have transformation capabilities to access flight mode. The Harute Gundam has only been released in the HG version, in 1/144 size scale. It has two handheld weapons capable of accessing a sword mode which is also able to transform into a gun mode too, and its head unit has a tranparent visor, which i think is used for aiming purposes. Furthermore, the Harute Gundam is able to transform its whole body into a "plane" form, with its two handheld weapons fixed at the sides of the plane in gun mode to shoot down others in the "plane" or flight  mode. Overall, the Harute Gundam is mostly for aerial use and for fights in the air. The Harute Gundam is cool as it has a good contrast of its orange, black and white colours. The transparent visor has a good small size which fits the Harute Gundam's head quite nicely. Its backpack also has a good size as it will not exceed the size or weight of the main body. Here are a few pictures of the gundam:
